CSS Assessment

          On the day of april 15th of 2024, We were scheduled on Monday to do a practice assessment by our CSS teacher on school. We've been assigned to do the COC1 and COC2 on that day. So to start I decided to do the computer disassembling. First, I turned off the power supply, and then I disconnected the computer itself to the outlet. Then i proceeded to open up the computer, and then I unplugged the power supply to the motherboard and to the hard drive, then I removed the power supply itself from the case. After that, I disconnected all of the connected wires from the motherboard, and then I removed the cooler fan from the case. Then, secondly, I proceeded to remove the hard drive from the computer. After that, I unscrewed all of the screws from the holding it up, and then after unscrewing it, I pulled out the motherboard away from the case. Lastly, I disconnected the ram, heat sink, and processor from the motherboard. After that, I recall all of the parts and components of a computer in front of our teacher. 

                 So after all of that, I've been instructed to reassemble the whole computer system. So, first, I needed to put back the processor, heat sink, and the ram. After that, I screwed back in the motherboard from the case and then screwed back in the hard drive. Secondly, I put back the cpu fan, and then I replug all of the cables in to there dedicated ports. Lastly, reinstall the power supply, and I reconnected it from the motherboard and hard drive and closed the cover after that. 

           So after I assembled it, I tried to boot the computer, and thanks god, in just one try, I completely passed from the assembling and disassembling of a computer. But, due to the fact that we didn't bring a flash drive, we didn't finish the 3rd part of the COC1 assessment, so we decided to proceed to COC2. We firstly did the lan cable making, so for me, this part is the most easiest part because I kind of master it. 

                  The lan cable that I made is the one that I use in Router configuration and Pc to Pc connection. So after that, we finished all of the assessments except the os installation and got home by 2pm of the afternoon.
